Cylinder Base Gasket
Is there anyway to tell if I just blew a gasket or cracked the head?
I have a 2001 Town and Country that has blown a gasket or cracked the cylinder head (hopefully not the block!). I don't know much about cars, but I was driving it when it happened, so I know what it felt/looked/acted like. Is there any way to tell based on how it was acting which it is? I will know soon enough b/c the shop will be working on it soon, but I really want to know just how screwed I am as soon as possible.
no way to know unless you remove the heads even if you cant see cracks have it pressure tested
